Late mother of King Achille Caron. This portrait was painted when she was younger. She was said to be a woman who could be entirely serious one minute and then burst into laughter the next. She and Domitille got along well for the short time they knew each other, and would often take tea together in the afternoon at least once a week. She was in her 60s when she died, marking only a twenty year difference in their ages as she gave birth to Achille at a young age.
