Calixte Droit is the great grandfather to Calixte Émile-Droit and also the man he was named after. Calixte was married to Sacha Émile and it was her idea to hyphenate the last name of their children so it would represent both of them down the line of succession. Calixte fell in love with Sacha’s duality and always did all he could to support her “quirks”, often joining in on teaching the servant children and sometimes working in the fields with the men and soldiers before he was crowned King. (He sometimes snuck out after as well.) He is the father of Jehanne, Mathys andKilian Émile-Droit.
